Governor Dr. Peter Mbah conveyed this during a visit from Dr. Donal Brown, the Associate Vice President of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), and his team. Represented by Deputy Governor Barr. Ifeanyi Ossai, the governor expressed gratitude for IFAD’s assistance, highlighting the state’s commitment to utilizing agriculture as a means of poverty alleviation.
The governor emphasized the significance of IFAD’s program, particularly in supporting rural and smallholder farmers, who play a vital role in the nation’s food production.
